Aurora Picture Show Open House

Visit the Aurora Picture Show Open House to learn more about our microcinema, video library and sample some Saint Arnold brew.

Come and visit the Aurora Picture Show Video Library all day (11am – 4pm).  Chill on our porch with Saint Arnold Brewery or pop in a DVD from our non-circulating collection of over 800 DVDs of artist-made film and video. If you have wanted to learn more about our organization, this is your chance to chat with the staff and pick up a calendar of events.

During the festival, we also invite you to visit our installation in Richmond Hall of the Punto y Raya, a Spanish festival of short films and we will also host a video salon workshop on digital animation in the office from 12:30-1:30PM.

Outside of the Menil Festival, we regularly invite educators, artists and the general public to make appointments to view the collection. Library visitors are hosted in a private viewing room with video projection and comfortable furniture. The viewing room can accommodate groups of 8 or less, while groups up to 20 can use the Aurora conference room with LCD screen. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm. Private tours and field trips are welcome. There is no charge for using the Aurora Video Library.
